Jeff Salzman and Kelly Bearer

Same sex relationships – are they different from hetero relationships?

In most of the Western world, same sex relationships are legally recognized and have gained even the status that marriage, heretofore reserved only for hetero couples, affords. Knowing about the differences between men and women and also how these differences in perception, habits, education, etc. influence the relationships between men and women—and which often are the cause for separation—we would think that same sex relationships have the advantage of each partner being familiar with the general ways of the other. Is this true? What are the challenges with which same sex relationships are struggling?

In our show, we have invited a man and a woman, Jeff Salzman and Kelly Bearer, to tell us about their experiences in relationships with partners of their own sex and to lift the veil of mystery surrounding this topic.

Jeff says about himself:

I am an integralist, an evolutionary, and now a public commentator who, swimming against the current of prevailing culture, is heartened by the state and future of things. It seems to me self-evident that life is animated by the power of evolution, inside and out, and that we are riding a geyser of emergence toward a sacred world. In this blog, I will make that case or grow trying! – See more HERE.
