Sexuality in Human Life: Words of a therapist engaged with people who have problems in this area of their lives.
Even in the 21st century sexuality is still a huge taboo, similar to ageing, death and life-threatening illnesses. After the Women’s Liberation Movement in the 60ies of the last century things seem to have become better, young people can be engaged in sexuality without much social control. But what happens in our bedrooms is still a big No-No.
Many people have sexual problems, psychological or physiological, and the shame component is huge. Fortunately “Sexual Therapy” and coaching has become a possibility to address these problems in a safe way, instead of relying of what is written in certain magazines or transmitted by doubtable other sources which unfortunately seem to be the most common way people reach out for (mis-) information, even in our so “enlightened” world of today.
Christiane Pelmas works with people, 1:1, with couples and in groups and has a huge success in bringing people into contact with the precious gift of their own sexuality which opens up into beautiful relationships.
This is an excerpt of a 50 minute conversation with Christiane Pelmas, the founder of THE REWILDING, a platform where she offers guidance in questions of sexuality, for men, for women, for couples and for the life in groups.

Oh wow!
Heidi you have a wealth of knowledge here. Watching the video on the role of sexuality gave me loads of insights. How as moms we stop physical contact with our sons and they pine away for it till they find a partner and even then they don’t know what to do about it.
I felt guilty as a mom. Hope I have enough time to put it right.
Thank you for the work that you and Mark do. It’s awesome. I will return and slowly go through everything you have put together here when I have my breaks from work.
Much love
Danielle
Thank you, Danielle for your comment. I am glad that you found value in the video. There is still so much uncertainty and taboo around sexuality and I am glad that there are people who speak openly about it and teach people how to integrate it into their lives in a constructive way. Looking forward to reading further comments when you dive into the rich list of awesome topics and guests we had in the past 2 years!
